Acceptable Use Policy

1. Why this exists

A short link hides where it goes. That is the point of one, and it is also exactly what makes shorteners attractive to people running scams. This policy is the line, and it forms part of the Terms of Service.

It applies to every short link, every linkr.bio page, and everything reachable from them.

2. You must not use linkr to link to or publish

Anything unlawful in Australia, or that infringes someone else's rights.

Phishing, credential harvesting, or any page impersonating a person, business, bank or government service.

Malware, ransomware, cryptominers, or any file or script intended to damage or gain unauthorised access to a device.

Child sexual abuse material — which we report to the authorities without notice, without exception, and without waiting to be asked.

Content that incites violence, or harasses, threatens or bullies a person.

Material that is defamatory, or that discloses someone's private information without their consent.

Deceptive commercial practices, fake stores, pyramid or investment scams.

Unsolicited bulk messaging of any kind, including SMS and email, whether or not the destination itself is lawful.

Content that breaches the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) or the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth).

3. You must not misuse the service itself

No automated bulk creation of links other than through an arrangement with us.

No attempt to probe, scan or bypass our access controls, or to reach another customer's links, pages or click data.

No cloaking — showing our systems or a preview crawler one destination and sending people to another.

No chaining a linkr link through other redirectors to obscure the destination.

No use of the service in a way that degrades it for other customers.

4. Reporting a link

If a linkr link points at something that breaches this policy, email hello@laddandassociates.com with the full short link and what is wrong with it. You do not need an account to report one.

We take reports seriously and act on them quickly. We will not tell you who created a link, but we will tell you what we did about it.

5. What we do about breaches

Depending on severity we may disable the link, suspend the account, terminate it, or report it to law enforcement or the eSafety Commissioner.

We may act without notice where a link is actively causing harm. For anything less clear-cut we will normally contact you first.

A disabled code is not reissued to anyone else, in line with our Terms.
